This year my lovely wife (Patricia) and I rented this lovely cottage in the Limousin area of France. The weather was very hot, blue skies every day. Limousin is a very quiet area, very few "Brits" and very few of the locals speak English. Difficult for me as a non-French speaker! There are a huge number of lakes to see, although there is little night life other than bars offering very good food, wine and the local dark beer.
